~ Looking out the open restaurant window across a small creek-like estuary, I saw this female Nycticorax nycticorax (雌夜鹭) hunched down on a tree branch…her position was semi-sheltered from the downpour…given the intense precipitation, it was natural to suppose that she was waiting for conditions to improve
