~ This particular Ardeola bacchus (池鹭) remained perched on the same stone long enough to enable a fairly close range portrait to be taken…the sunlight was turning orange as long rays passed through air pollutants, thus the images have a dusky look…approaching it from an upper level, it was a joy to take a close range portrait before it took wing to fly otherwhere
