~ To celebrate my 60th birthday, I flew from Beijing to Singapore on a non-stop Air China flight which departed in the middle of the night…Beijing was characteristically smoggy while Singapore was clear…a friendly Air China gate agent warmly congratulated me on my birthday…I went alone with one large camera bag…once in Singapore, I enjoyed minestrone soup and lasagna at a Souperlicious outlet
