~ After leaving Meru National Park and the delightful Murera Springs Eco Lodge near Maua, Anthony drove to the Archer's Post Gate of Samburu National Reserve, thence directly to the Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch on the veranda overlooking the lodge's waterhole for wildlife...I swam for an hour, enjoying the quarter moon overhead, small scarlet dragonflies on patrol around the pool and swallows skimming through light breezes...we went on a late afternoon game drive wherein this juvenile Equus grevyi, Grevy's Zebra, 细纹斑马, was encountered...the largest, rarest and shyest zebra species, Equus grevyi has intricate, closely spaced stripes, as shown in this handheld portrait made at about 3.5 meters...it's dedicated to Miss ZHANG Muran, 张沐苒, of Santa Clara, California who has recently developed an interest in zebras at age 1½
