~ The surprise on returning to Beijing from East Africa was the clear skies during the approach to Beijing Capital International Airport…the aircraft circled the city from west to the south, facilitating these images…it was the first time in memory to see Beijing under such favorable conditions…I told CHEN Jian after we were on the ground that for this one day, perhaps Beijing was the most beautiful city in the World to me!
