~ While the other Crocuta crocuta, Spotted Hyena, were dining on the hippo carcass, one hyena slipped away to where the hippo jaw had been dragged, with vultures nearby. It stealthily picked up the hippo jaw and began trotting away in a direction which would take it far from the other hyenas, ostensibly to savor the hippo jaw in privacy.
