~ After the initial flurry of shots of the sinking Sun, the remaining time on the Kowloon waterfront (facing Hong Kong island) was spent taking photos of the scene, visitors, vessels and assorted subjects of interest…the early January air was brisk but comfortable…the lack of intrusive pressure or relentless security made the early evening visit a welcome respite from usual life…it's a privilege to visit Hong Kong every year, if only to refresh my sense of genuine freedom and intellectual honesty
