~ After having observed and photographed Vidua macroura and Vidua paradisaea, it was only fitting that Vidua fischeri, Straw-tailed Whydah, would appear...perched alone atop a bush, Anthony kindly stopped to facilitate a few images of Vidua fischeri's distinctive tail plumes...the Whydah family are such showy birds, a great joy to photograph for others to see
