~ On Valentine's Day, 2018 a shipment arrived with five vintage fountain pens — four Montblancs and one Pelikan. This would have been my mother's 94th birthday. I was informed that the university is inclined to renew my contract to July, 2019, which will be the 20th year of serving as an instructor in Chinese universities.
