~ It seemed as though the tour of Mzima Springs was over when the concrete path suddenly was filled with Heterohyrax brucei, Bush Hyrax or Yellow-spotted Rock Hyrax...the security guard, Roselyne, said we were especially fortunate as they rarely show themselves to visitors...they were at such close range that it was difficult to photograph them without stepping backwards a few paces...there was a happy feeling being so near to species which aren't in any sense tame
