~ As described in more detail in the Zenfolio Blog, one of the most impressive experiences in visiting Venice was seeing a group of French students from La Salle Passy Buzenval in the western suburbs of Paris, who flew in the same aircraft with me from Paris to Venice...watching their mature, well-disciplined, yet vivacious behavior, I hoped that I might meet them again in Venice...as it happened, walking on the eastern terminus of the Zattere they were coming back the other direction...their instructors very graciously agreed to let me photograph them on the stairs with St. Mark's campanile to the right...a lively student who'd been radiantly smiling in Charles de Gaulle Airport as well as on the aircraft posed for a portrait of his cheerful smile
