~ This image of the Full Moon for Mid-Autumn Day 2013 was taken in the small parking lot immediately west of the UCAS Yuquan Road campus Auditorium, by the EOS 1D X camera and the EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super-telephoto lens…a big thanks goes to my Peking University teaching assistant LI Yinan of Shanxi, Taiyuan, who alerted me by text message that the Moon was visible, despite hazy atmospheric conditions…this was shot through the haze, wide open at f/2.8, which is why the ISO was adjusted to 2500 in order to capture a usable image…中秋节快乐!
