~ The specimens of Agama agama, Red-headed Rock Agama, at Hunter's Lodge had notably vivid scale coloration...near the Chyulu Hills, they were reptiles with flair, especially liking to perch and climb on lava...although I sought to photograph the attractive camouflage patterns of females, they were scarce, hence this series is disproportionately male
