~ While sitting on the small veranda of my room, watching the wildlife at one of the waterholes below, a dark form ran up onto the light-colored porch railing...it was Hemidactylus mabouia, Tropical House Gecko...the images show the red markings along its side and the complex eye...its size surprised me, never before having seen such a large gecko
