~ LI Yinan spotted this juvenile Tachybaptus ruficollis, Little Grebe, dabbling in and around reeds growing near a walking bridge…it made no effort to swim to less apparent locations, seemingly content to seek nourishment within one limited area…the arcs of reeds were a pleasing visual element
