~ This series shows Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background with Loxodonta africana in the foreground, as rendered by the Zeiss Apo-Sonnar T* 135mm f/2 ZE telephoto lens...the Zeiss 135mm lens renders color gradations with high accuracy such that these images are especially lifelike...it turned out that 135mm was an especially effective lens for framing the volcano and wildlife, when photographed at f/20, in order to have a wide depth of field
