~ The late night in peaceful Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden invited astronomical photography…having no skill or training in that, these shots were necessarily test shots, seeking an optimal combination of camera settings to obtain usable images…in the early evening I took dozens of photos of Jupiter, yet only this one was reasonably clear and steady…after the Moon rose in the middle of the night, I went out of my hotel room again (I'd been grading student papers all night by a very dimly lit light) to capture a few images of the Moon over Xishuangbanna
