~ This shot of rice fields with bamboo-forested hills behind them is an example of an unintended image…we were driving from Juxi to Futang (富塘) when I spotted a bird of interest…Oujin kindly stopped and parked so that I might run back a bit to photograph it…as it turned out, the bird in question was too distant to be significant, yet the image I took is a satisfactory representative shot of southwestern Fujian's mountainous character
