~ My primary aim in asking LIN Guoming to join me for an afternoon shooting expedition at Zizhyyuan Park was to photograph Aix galericulata, Mandarin Ducks…we initially didn't see them, as their customary location was walled off by newly installed "pay walls" to charge visitors for ice skating…however, I spotted a few flying through the air, so went with Guoming in search of them…such unmistakable plumage!
