~ Less than three days from returning from a superb safari in South Africa, I was back in Beijing Capital International Airport, at Gate E10, boarding a Qatar Airways flight to Doha, Qatar. I'd read several chapters of “Piggy Boy's Blues” by South African musician and author Nakhane Touré, which I'd bought days ago in the O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Seated beside a wall without any window, I slept most of the way to Doha. There was a striking early morning view in night light of Doha.
