~ This male Agama agama, Red-headed Rock Agama, 虹飞蜥, lived arund the main buildings of the Samburu Sopa Lodge in the Samburu Nature Reserve…unlike others of his species I'd photographed at Lake Nakuru and in Nairobi, he was fairly calm, permitting me to bring the camera lens near enough for this portrait
