~ We drove eastward from Urumqi on an entirely unexpected and unplanned excursion…after more than an hour we entered a plain between two mountain ranges with an extensive wind farm…the white wind turbines turned in the stiff breeze…we stopped at a visitir center, which wasn't yet completed, where these images were taken
