~ This series is a particularly exciting set of images, as it was produced through maintaining the camera and lens steady while tracking a flock of Phalacrocorax carbo, Great Cormorants…they flew in a sinuous line which brought to mind functions of a complex variable…for that reason this set is subtitled "Living Algebraic Geometry"…it's dedicated to my two mathematics Ph.D. friends, Dr. CHEN Ke of l'Université Paris-Sud XI, and Dr. ZHANG Hanxiong of Tsinghua University
