~ Nature's diversity in Futang is observed at various scales, from the trees in hillside forests to tiny plant parasites in farm fields…these images show smaller species including eggs and caterpillars…all were handheld shots in the garden area near Futang's village stream…the Chloropinae Frit Fly was an especially diminutive organism…the ant tending aphids under a curved wildflower stalk was a fortuitous capture…Palpopleura sexmaculata was identified from QIU Wenhui's excellent Zenfolio Gallery wherein he presents detailed macro shots of the species…the Wasp Moth was observed hanging upside down under a leaf as we walked back into the village from the stream-side garden area
