~ One of the Helmet-shrikes, Eurocephalus rueppelli, Northern White-crowned Shrike was frequently spotted throughout the safari...in these photos they were on an acacia tree with ling spike-like thorns...there's something about their mien which comes across as placid, although hardly so to their insect prey
