~ This morning's Peking University Life Sciences class had several surprise visitors…Peking University Health Sciences Center medical student XU Ni kindly stopped by with a vibrantly blue Larimar stone from the Dominican Republic…former TA ZHAO Zhilei very thoughtfully visited after the class with a large avian photography book titled 'Bird'…a pair of photos of the 6th floor classroom is included, as is an image of the Czech soccer team scarf and British sweets received from my neighbors and colleagues, Jeremy and Dasha Garlick
