~ The morning game drive commenced with a sighting of Eurocephalus rueppelli, Northern White-crowned Shrike, in dry twigs...this diminutive shrike is widespread, as we spotted it everywhere we visited...it's not easy to photograph, as it tends to fly away when a safari van rolls to a stop, thus these images were a fortunate beginning to the day
