~ Anthony turned the safari van onto an obscure track south of Lake Nakuru...within a couple of minutes we spotted four Ceratotherium simum, White Rhinoceros, resting near various zebras, giraffes, and a warthog...this particular Ceratotherium simum was by itself, slightly away from the others...the pose and our angle of view was such that its bent legs were clearly visible, so like other species at rest...the small flowers near its face subtly underscore the rhino's gentleness
