~ This rainy day began by visiting the EOS office at the Central Conservatory of Music to pick up a pair of tickets for an all-Beethoven concert…then I went to the Mont Blanc store in the Malls at Oriental Plaza in Wangfujing where I added a Fine Nib Mont Blanc 149 Diplomat to the previous medium point 149 Diplomat which I received as a gift two decades ago…the two seemingly identical pens are readily distinguishable as the new model has a gold inset on the nib…something for one who earns their bread through editing a steady stream of student papers and research manuscripts
