~ The zenith of my 2011 visit to East Africa was being permitted to directly photograph the oldest complete set of Homo erectus fossils - Turkana Boy…kept in a sealed vault under lock and key, he was made available because National Geographic Society photographers were visiting the museum to re-photograph other fossils…my heart was ponding when my trusty 24mm lens was near to the actual preserved bones…a world treasure
