~ When I came to Ms. CHU Pei's camera shop in Zhongguancun, I brought the reliable EF 35mm f/1.4L wide prime lens to serve as a test lens on the new EOS 1D X camera…despite the dim light in the cubbyhole office, these sharp, clear snapshots demonstrate the extraordinary power of the camera…Ms. CHU Pei and I were fumbling around, having a devil of a time trying to determine how to reset the camera from 'P' automatic mode to my customary 'M' manual mode…after several calls, we did it…the camera will probably henceforth exclusively be shot at ISO 100, 'M' Manual mode…my 'usual'...
