~ Amani was initially beside her impala kill. She was no longer feeding, but rather watched the surroundings while her three cubs ate. We were so close to the kill that the 400mm lens was unable to include all of mani in a frame. The inimitable sound of bone-crunching and sinew tearing was discernible in the otherwise quiet immediate environment.
