~ As it happened, this was the first wildlife image of the 11-day safari...a mother and infant Chlorocebus pygerythrus, Vervet Monkey, near the parking lot of Hunter's Lodge in Kiboko, on the Mombasa Highway, near the Chyulu Hills National Park, one of the youngest mountain ranges anywhere...I'd originally intended to slightly lighten the image, but after reconsideration retained the darkened color tones
