~ In a quiet, out-of-the-way, protected area of the research building of the National Museum of Kenya, there is a sealed vault, within which are stored humankind's paleontological treasures…this seldom opened vault was open when I was there to accommodate National Geographic Society photographers who were shooting the Black Skull, among others…their photographer graciously posed with Deming at my request, reversing his baseball cap to authenticate the image
