~ Throughout a safari photos are made of every species observed, no matter the circumstances, in order to acquire images to study later...in this case I was waiting for Ni at the top of the stairs leading up from his room...looking in the fruit-filled tree overhanging Ni's room I spotted and photographed a raptor...the lighting and visibility were less than ideal, yet adequate to later identify it as Accipiter badius, Shikra, with pathognomonic red eyes
