~ This series differs from most others in that it was planned in advance, based on an observation the preceding evening...we'd entered Amboseli National Park late in the afternoon, hence kept moving due to pending sundown...I'd spotted this particular large nymphaea bloom, but it hadn't been opportune to stop...therefore when we returned to the area the next day, I was eager to photograph it...as it happened, Actophilornis africanus, African Jacana, was beside it, which resulted in these images
