~ The evening after we returned from Hong Kong, there was a wonderful dinner prepared by Cheng's maternal grandmother, 谭静芬…she made her special chicken wings, which I've often enjoyed, as well as dishes which are especially suited to my restricted eating habits…there was a happy conversation afterwards with Cheng's grandparents and Uncle 刘雪峰…unbeknownst to me at the time, this was my final visit there, as when Cheng graduated from UIBE in Beijing with a law degree, he broke off any further communication with our photography friends group, including me...
