~ After our arrival and hotel check-in in Urumqi, 新疆乌鲁木齐, we were excorted on a VIP tour of the CAS Museum of Ecology and Geography…the exhibits portrayed Xinjiang's desert and mountain ecology, including such distinctive species as Przewalski's Horse, Equus caballus…the wild fruit of western Xinjiang was highlighted, which has spread around the globe…I was photographed standing beside a calligraphy inscription written by Chinese Academy of Sciences President BAI Chunli
