~ Despite low light in an overcast late afternoon, we observed birds while driving along the red-earth entrance road from the Mtito Andei Gate of Tsavo West National Park...these images were selected not for the rarity of the species, but rather for the clarity of ecological context and/or behavior...Tsavo West surprised me with its rich avian life
