~ The final wildlife images of the January, 2015 11-day safari were a pair of Acinonyx jubatus, cheetah, 猎豹, who were in the eastern savannah areas of Samburu National Reserve, north-central Kenya...we'd been photographing an agile young Panthera pardus, leopard, running through an elephant herd, when consummate safari guide Anthony Gitau drove off through the fading dusk light at top speed...this image was taken at 6:54 pm, in near darkness, handheld, at very high ISO...the cheetah's affection for one another was a fine ending to an outstanding safari...this image is especially for 施泓州 in Singapore, whose warmhearted, independent intelligence regularly brightens my life
