~ As we'd spotted birds during the close of the prolonged morning game drive, so we spotted birds during the beginning of the evening game drive. A female Circus pygargus, Montagu's Harrier, was the second observed during the safari. The contrast between the deep blues of a Superb Starling's plumage and the light tones of the grass was striking. A Fiscal Shrike carefully perched atop an acacia with especially needle-like spines.
