~ We came upon a small bachelor herd of Giraffa camelopardalis tippelskirchi, Masai Giraffe, browsing in the scrub bush beside the track...they were mildly curious, looking in our direction while continuing with their browsing...the oxpeckers were noisy in contrast to their largely silent hosts...the scene reflected the quiet grandeur of uncrowded Tsavo West National Park
