~ After walking out of the quiet garden around the small formal pool, a winding path led through the treefern collection, which included large ground-based ferns as well as hanging staghorn ferns…that area is dark, dripping with moisture from the canopy overhead…I enjoyed the solitary walk, photographing ferns, remembering my late mother and sister who both loved ferns
