~ These three images were taken with the lens pointed up into an acacia beside the track, not far from Rhino Valley Lodge...an elderly male Maasai Giraffe was browsing...we'd spotted him yesterday evening when we arrived...he was so near the open safari van top that no more than his head and upper neck fit into the frame...the images include the flies around his eyes as well as the individual hairs on his chin
