~ We walked single-file past the tall, barbed-wire fence around the "no man's land" on the frontier with mainland China…the path went on planks attached to floating oil barrel pontoons…here and there mudflat between mangrove plants appeared…despite being ill-equipped to photograph at such close range, while in steady forward motion, I took this snapshot of Uca artuaca with the EF 400mm f/5.6L super telephoto lens…the wrong tool for the job, yet a moderately acceptable image
