~ These ten portraits are the graduate students in the UCAS 2014 Linguistics Class at the Yanqihu campus, near Huairou...following the final class session, each student briefly posed by the classroom's north wall...the Zeiss Apo-Sonnar T* 135mm f/2 ZE manual focus telephoto lens was mounted on the EOS 1D X camera, which was supported by a Manfrotto monopod...each of the class members were delightful individuals, with fine qualities of intelligence, honesty, independent thinking and helpfulness
