~ Lofty rocky ridges surround Zhangjiangkou, with vegetation growing wherever roots are able to establish a purchase on the stone…there were clouds veiling the upper layer of the hills, as well as much more distant cloud layers…their stratification resembled spececraft shots of Jupiter's banded cloud layers
