~ A highlight of the morning game drive was this isolated baobab, not near any others of its kind...it was a tree of life, with orange-bellied parrots, weavers, hornbills and a large raptor in its branches...what was especially noteworthy were the number of bird nests throughout the branches...they were constructed in varying sizes and shapes, suggestive of different species over time...how long will a bird's nest survive in this setting?
