~ We spotted the egret tree several minutes before drawing alongside it…the white plumage of the birds in the treetop stood out on the grey afternoon…these images show our approach by boat, and the slow gliding past when the captain cut the engine to enable us to take more photographs…ongoing heavy rainfall seemed to have subdued the birds
