~ An Ardeola bacchus, Chinese Pond Heron, 池鹭, took to the air from the Zhangjiangkou mudflats…as it flew on its way, in search of a secluded roost, it passed by swallows…throughout our visit to Zhangjiangkou swallows actively flew along, presumably catching insects…such energetic birds!
